.......that bad things dont actualy come in threes.
Wow, hasnt this been a wonderful week.I had to have my old dog put to sleep over the weekend.....she was nearly 15 (a very old age for a lab) and she couldnt walk anymore & had stopped eating. Even with the rationale of it being for the best it was a crappy decision to have to make......:(
Then we get the news that my Grandad has less than a week to live. Something like this wasnt exactly unexpected (he is 98 after all)....but I hate the emotional strain its putting on my Mum. I wish (horrible as it may sound) that Grandad would just let go, he has absolutely no quality of life anymore; and yet somehow he just keeps hanging in there.
I am currently trying to get my aunt to come visit for a few days to lend an emotional shoulder to Mum......but I dont know if she will come or not.
Anyway-sorry to bog everyone down in my problems ^^;....I promise to write about something more cheerful next journal.
