Happy Thanksgiving! Just out of curiosity, what does Thanksgiving represent outside of the U.S.?

That can be attributed to 3 things in history.

1. Explorers thankful that they did not die from the cold from exploring this country.

2. It was end of harvest feast practiced by natives that lived here (that's why it happens earlier here, we get winter sooner than America does)

3. It officially became a holiday one year to celebrate the Prince of Whales not dying, who was at time very very sick.
