I feel like you should educate your father on the gym thing. Stress, anxiety, all that fun stuff makes you go on an adrenalin rush and the only way to really stay sane is to release it. Even though gyms are nice you dont always need fancy machines to work out. I go for a walk or run if Im that bad in need of getting something out. I use that time to learn and practice my hobbie if i get the slightest feeling of stress or anxiety. If that dosent work i use funny animal video therapy tbh.

I try talking to him, but he just kinda sits there and hears me talk, he never really listens. Then when he does respond I'm always wrong or I did something wrong. I've been getting into knitting and it helps a bit, so I'm finding so stuff to keep me busy

video games for me! i do the little time management thing like...diner dash-esque and cake mania. or cool action-y rpg games that do a lot of quests (like torchlight, pokemon mystery dungeon)
or i just get involved with a tv series! like i took a breather watching legend of korra or american horror story, basically watching a series i wanted to watch for a while and just did!
i also suggest reading and stuff ;v; just getting yourself involved in things to i guess just have something/ a little outlit of enjoyment!

I play a lot of animal crossing, it just feels like my little world I can escape to but with school and work, I cant find the time to play ; n ;

But I'm finding more things to do like reading as you said! Right now I'm reading Fahrenheit 451

If you don't feel too uncomfortable you can always substitute the gym for a nice walk outside? Maybe on a safe trail or around the park?
I did that a lot with stress! Hanging out with a good friend you haven't seen for awhile really helps to refresh you :3
Ofcourse nothing beats a good ol' close friend either!

Gaming is great especially multiplayer ones like Little Big Planet/ ones you can also get a little competitive fun out of
It could even be like fun run or pokemon ….or UNO LOL hell even the game of life gets pretty fun when you have some funny friends to play with

My friend was suppose to be coming over today, but hanging out with people is also difficult because I work on Saturdays, so I do school work friday and sunday.

I got the new app called LINE PLAY on my phone, holy moly it's so much fun. Even though it's one of those avatar games where you customize your character and house. ITS SO MUCH DANG FUN LOL
