Online messaging issues. How do you resolve this?
If only there was a way to message someone without the other person taking the text as something you were not intending it to sound like. .-. This has been happening far too much lately. I can see how if someone is in a bad mood, they would take the tone of the message of the wrong way. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be a way to do this without completely over-explaining the way you are intending on how the message sounds. Which then potentially can be taken the wrong way. .-. Especially if you do not personally know the person on the other end of the message, there are so many factors of intention left up in the air.
If I message you and you think I am trying to get under your skin, please communicate this with me by asking! "Are you really upset at me because...?" I really don't like to be a bother nor do I enjoy arguing with people. Especially over the internet, I find it very pointless and a waste of time. I don't need to be lashed out at. :/ If I was upset, I would still find a way to express myself through a mature manner. and likely state it in the beginning, "I am upset that..." I know it may sound stupid to ask about things, but as a matter of fact that is a key to thorough communication. If you don't know or are unsure, ASK. This would clear up the confusion and prevent sparking arguments. Arguments on the internet.. really? Unless it is some sort of debate on a subject, I don't really want to take part in it.
