I know I do...but I don't want to charge too much or too little. I've been kind of looking to other artist's and what their going rates are. Maybe, like $5 for sketches, $7 or $8 for inked, $10 or $12 for flat color, and $17 or $18 for simple shades and highlights, then $25 or $30 for detailed stuff. Then +$5 per added character.
Or something like that..?? Does that sound reasonable????

As for the background
Most just say like add __$$ for a background on the bottom of their commish sheet.
*charges a gazzillion dollars as to not do backgrounds...*
You should at least charge 2 gazzillion.
