Do what you want to do pretty much is why I'm still single

(my opinion)

pros: freedom to be more flirty and open with others. you don't have to worry about upsetting them or them upsetting you. you don't have to talk to them constantly and make them happy so less stress. don't have to buy them gifts. your not tied to anyone. more free time.

cons: no one to love or have nice feelings for. might feel a little lonely. no one to have "fun" with. no one to buy you gifts.

I think being single is nice because you have the ability to do what you want without needing to check with anyone.

However, being in a couple/family, means you have people to lean on, and you are more insulated against money issues, do not need to handle medical events alone, and so on.

I'm sure there are others, but that's what I've got so far.
