Patreon-like service that allows adult content? - Resolved

So I know the internet is basically of two camps when it comes to Patreon. Whatever. I was playing around with it today, and thinking of setting up a per-piece campaign to see if there was any interest in funding more of the "Night to Remember" story and illustrations I've been posting sporadically. Just kind of like a carrot to keep me moving on it so folks get to see new chapters more often.
I built the whole page, and uploaded a bunch of starter content to reflect what's already been done... and then while searching for the payment info, I found this in their faq:
What is not allowed?
Pornography is not allowed on Patreon. “Pornography” is defined as material designed with the sole intention of eliciting sexual arousal. Specifically, Patreon does not allow:
-Close up depictions of intercourse, masturbation, or genitalia
-Depictions of sexual bodily fluids
-Any sexual content depicting underage subjects
-Anything we forgot to put on this list but makes our users uncomfortable
Argh. u.u
So much for that idea. I'm not so much mad at them as I am at myself for all the time I lost putting the damn page together to find out I'd be violating their ToS if I actually use it. The story I'd like to fund is very specifically adult in nature, as are many of the images for it. So yeah, if anyone happens to know of a service that functions along similar lines, but, y'know, doesn't freak out if the content happens to have bits and fluids, I'd be all for it. Ugh.

ADDENDUM:
On further reading of the rules, it looks like most of the restrictions presented at Patreon are focused on publicly viewable content, or in other words, don't have dicks and boobs all over your main page where kids might stumble across them. So long as your profile is set to private, and NSFW content is marked for patrons only and not public, it should be okay. So it looks like I might be able to do this after all!
That would be really nice. I'm not looking to pay my rent with the thing, but a few bucks would certainly help as an incentive to getting out more pics and chapters for public consumption.

FA+

Considering that the this Personhood Amendment in CO includes that a woman could potentially be charged with murder even during a miscarriage and other perfectly legitimate medical reason why a pregnancy failed without any real intervention.
I am just done with peoples' invalid religious agendas without anything stand on.
I will say, though, that on some further reading, it might be workable after all. It looks like the majority of those restrictions are on publicly viewable content. So long as things are set to private and patrons only, and not solely for the purposes of whacking off (which the story actually isn't, even though it contains adult content. It was always supposed to be a gentle introduction to a somewhat more realistic BDSM scenario) it should be all right.
The first is in section 7, bullet 2 stating that you should not "Publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any profane, defamatory, infringing, obscene or unlawful topic, name, material or information.". While this would appear to prevent posting of adult material. Section 7 is listed as "Public Areas" and clearly states that these are areas that are "public". In section 2, they use the phrase "Service whether in public, private, or offline interactions." designating that there are "public" and "private" and "offline" areas of Patreon. Since Patreon only content is not available in "public" we can assume it's "private" or "offline" meaning it doesn't fall under section 7.
The second is in section 11 which discusses "Your Information". It states that your profile "will not be obscene or contain child pornography or be harmful to minors". Your profile is defined as "any information and materials you provide to Patreon.com or other Users in connection with your registration for and use of the Service, including without limitation that posted or transmitted for use in Public Areas." So it looks like it includes registration information and stuff posted in "public" areas. Once again, this means that posting private Patreon only pieces won't fall under section 11.
There's one more interesting area in section 9 titled "Links to Other Web Sites" in which Patreon essentially disowns the content of links posted to other sites. Specifically "The use of any website controlled, owned or operated by third parties is governed by the terms and conditions of use and privacy policies for those websites, and not by Patreon.com's Terms of Service or Privacy Policy.". While this was probably added to protect them from bad advertisers, it means that any links you post to places like FA aren't covered by the Patreon TOS. Therefore, links to adult content within Patreon only posts should be ok.
So your options from most risky to least risky:
* Post it all in Patreon only posts
* Post censored versions on Patreon and link to full adult versions here
* Post censored versions on Patreon with no links (everyone knows where they are)
* Make a Patreon for a generic "art project" but only post clean stuff there
The feeling I got from reading everything is that as long as you don't piss someone off, you're good. Take this all with a grain of salt though, I'm not a lawyer.
Always happy to pitch in for fellow writers and good artists.
