Turning a cartoon fox into dragons or other species by stretching them out, slamming their feet and squashing them into flippers, stuffing red hot jalapenos into their throat so they can breath fire, giving them long necks by tying nooses around their necks, giving them massages from hell that CRANK dorsal fins out of their backs...

Weirdly specific, but alright! I'm not a fan of species TF myself but that stretching stuff I can agree to. Same with the chili peppers. Not a bad series of ideas, there!

Vacuum cleaner hose that turn toons into floaty ballons.
A gong smash over a toon's head that leaves him shaking back and forth.
A cigar firecracker that bursts, leaving black soot on the toon's face.
Stuffing a trumpet over a toon, so his head pops out the mouth peace and two tiny paws stick out of the end.

ALL of these are WONDERFUL and all of which are totally underutilized in art and nonsense. These are VERY good picks. Especially the trumpet, musical instrument gags are a personal favorite! <3

I can go on and on with these. This was my childhood! And yes, totally underutilized in art!

You forgot the gong ending up with the shape of the toon's head dented in it. :)

Microwaving something that shouldn't be put into a microwave, having said object in microwave blow up whole house/building, and have toon covered in black ash afterwards.

Also, the slice and dice! Getting a sharp object swung at them, having them walk away seemingly unharmed and then have them slowly fall apart.

Oooh ACCORDION now you're talking my language. Nothing like being played for a few sour notes post-anvil to really hammer the impact home! :D

Imagine a sheep having his wool torn off like velcro! Plus that segues well into the old "silly boxer shorts" gag!

I've always been fond of the waffle irons being closed on a character's body part, they pull it out and it's a waffle.

Or maybe the character by the trunk of the a tree sawing a branch to make another character fall. After cutting through the branch, the tree collapses but the branch stays levitating.

Aaaah, both of those are totally unique! Haven't seen nearly enough of either. So happy you volunteered to help me show them off! :D

I always found it amusing when a cartoon character who didn't wear pants would lose whatever upper-body clothing they were wearing, and then cover their crotch in response. As if the shirt were covering that. XD

I like that one a lot too! It's always worth a chuckle seeing someone be so bashful about nothing. :D

The "WTF??" screwball gags that defy any logic: Bugs Bunny calling Wile E. Coyote, "Daddy!" and hugging him, Tom grabbing Jerry's mouse hole and dragging it 3 inches to the right so Jerry crashes into the wall, Screwy Squirrel doing.... anything.

These are a lot more specific but I totally agree with you. The little things that really stand out, all of 'em classics.

Swallowing a live stick of dynamite or pulled grenade, ballooning out for a moment then belching loudly declaring "Thats a spicy meatball!"

Oooh, not bad at all! Nothing like using the nearest fox to defuse an armed explosive.

Oh oh oh! Whenever a toon gets hit with something that changes their body shape. Like when Tom the Cat got hit with a shovel his face turned into a shovel! Or when a toon gets hit with a frying face and their face temporally turns into a flat circle! It's hilarious!

...Or whenever a toon gets smashed by something and when they come up little birds or stars float around their head and all their teeth stick out of their head...

Body stretch and squash is REALLY awesome and I want to see more of it. There's plenty of flattening on FA but not a ton of in-context impact hijinks, that stuff's classic.

And whenever I hit you with something, little versions of me float around your head. And all of 'em point and laugh. :3

Yeah! You can keep all manner of heavy objects and explosives in there. It's darn handy.

Face stuck in the elevator, and coming out of it flattened and looking like a Picasso portrait.

My favourites though, are those that play around with gravity - both way too much of it, or none at all!

Mmm, gravity... that's an interesting choice! Could you give me some examples, though? I'm having trouble placing what exactly you mean.

Swimming in mid-air, backstroke and butterfly particularly; the ever-classic "no falling until you look down", casually strolling up to someone who is actively in free-fall... those are the low-grav ones. On the high gravity end, you have bits like the classic elevator gag where you're completely flattened upon reaching the bottom, there's the slow-motion and high-pressure physics of underwater activities. One gag I remember involved the individual being slowed and weighed down as if underwater, including breathing air bubbles, but while above ground and surrounded by those completely unaffected. :P

OK now I'm with you and now I'm hype. These are good. These are VERY good.
