TL:DR = Tomorrow is my birthday. I can't attend FangCon this weekend. Flying up north to visit family and see my grandma who was recently diagnosed with cancer.

So at this point I've been awake about 24 hours straight but I really need to write this down to let my friends and followers know why I've been so odd lately. I've had a lot on my mind since learning that my grandmother has cancer about a week and a half ago. My mom called me and told me the news, and she offered to pay for a plane ticket so that I can go be with my family.

Unfortunately, the only time that was feasible was this weekend, which happened to be the same weekend that I was supposed to attend FangCon. While I am somewhat sad that I won't be attending the con, of course family comes first. I'm really just upset about the poor timing. Won't get to see the friends that I've been looking forward to hanging out with all year, but it's also very important that I spend time with my grandma. According to my mother she will most likely refuse treatment and is deteriorating quickly.

Now for some good news. I get to see my family again! Something that I've been unable to do for almost a year due to scheduling and financial reasons. So I'll get to spend time with them which I have very much needed to do for some time.

Also tomorrow it will be thirty three years since I was born. Thanks in advance for all the Happy Birthdays! Don't be too worried about me tho. I'll pull through this just like I have everything else. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and now I'm gonna go lay down and get some sleep.
