How would you price my art?
I just.. I have no idea what sort of price range my commissions should be.
I am realizing that what I view as a decent price for my art is extremely different from what other people think is logical.
So with that in mind, I'd just like some personal opinions on what YOU (yes, specifically you) think each of the following pieces is worth.
Also, while it's not required, I'd like an idea of what you think I should charge for headshots and waist-ups?
Needless to say I don't believe in charging extra for nudity or sexual content.
Several of the images below are NSFW, you've been warned. xD

Colored Sketch: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u.....f/flaaffy2.png also old (obviously)

Flat: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u.....tuff/harps.png
Normal Icons: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u.....n/nyalarge.gif (animated)
Icons would come with both the large and small version.
Please provide what you think would be good prices for static AND animated icons.
PIXEL Icons: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u.....lilaavatar.png OLDoldoldold, so old. I haven't done a pixel icon in a while sorry. D:
OH ALSO, how much would you pay for a full-body flat PIXEL Icons from me?
I've been really interested in doing this as an alternative to normal commissions because it makes the work so much easier for me.
Things like reference sheets and badges would be on a case-by-case basis pretty much.
And please, there's no right or wrong answer here, everyone has a different idea of what a decent price for art is, I just want to know yours. c:
Pssstttt.. Leave a ref below after you've replied to my journal and maybe I'll doodle something. :>

i think that is a good starting point then you can go from their.
What I would recommend is choosing a price that you think is too low, and seeing if people bite. If they don't, go lower. If they do, bump it up over time as you get more exposure.
Also do YCHs. Sure, they're not the most fun thing to do and the 8 million of them popping up might get annoying from time to time, but they provide exposure. ( you post the initial YCH picture, with the pose example, and the full version. That's roughly twice the visibility.) Some people do post ads as well, but that's technically against the TOS these days, unless you edit it.
YCHs also give you an idea about what people would currently pay for that kind of art from you. (assuming you've chosen a pose people are willing to bid on.)
Sooo all in all
I didn't answer your question directly at all but hopefully that helps??? sorry otl
Thank you for taking the time to give your advice!
Honestly, they've taught me a lot, even outside of pricing and exposure. (things like, what poses people prefer, how to make a hard-hitting image, what kind of themes people & my watchers liked most..yknow, valuable stuff when you're drawing for a target audience!!)
Once you have an idea of whats a 'high' bid for your content and what's a 'low' bid for your content, it gets really easy to gauge interest in whatever thing your ych is portraying o:
They've been really valuable to me, not even counting the cash they bring in. Plus, I mean, there /is/ the cash they bring in!
Definitely! Good luck!!
