Since my company is doing a shutdown, I and some friends are heading to Las Vegas. I'm staying in a suite at the Luxor with Bluefists Fox - and I think I can get reduced rate rooms at any M-life properties. Excalibur from $20/night + resort fees, to suites from $100+/night.
If any of my friends would care to join me there, just let me know. I've got a form you can fill out to express interest. No commitment at this time, just trying to get an idea of who's interested. I will need to do the room reservation thing soon if you want to do the group; I will be asking for what they charge me (1 night, refundable).
On the agenda are Craftsteak, pool lounging, gun range (full auto!), Tiki bar crawl, Fursuiting, room parties, and scotch & cigars.

Shutdown is an annual thing now. Lots of companies do it. No big deal, except for those that have to take vacation time off then to make ends meet. I take it unpaid so I can use the vacation time when I want to.
