It's true. Her work is a wonderful fusion of illustration and graphic design. She recently gave a talk at the School of Advertising Art about her time in college, her lack of direction in life, and how she stumbled into the prolific career she has today. it's full of a lot of bad art and self-deprecating humour, and you know I'm all about that!
I followed her to college, studied into her major (because she just knew I wanted illustration), and eventually it was she who helped me assimilate into a new city, independent of my parents. I owe a lot of my growth as an artist and as a person to Danielle. After seeing this lecture, you'll probably see how.

FA+

Also, I found funny that she loves soccer. XD
Art runs in the family then?
You've got a cool sister, buddy. I'm happy for you.
My older sister studied a BFA (unsure of her major), but chose not to do really anything with it.
Often in her criticisms to me the results are reinforced negativity, through lecturing. On most occasions, she'd refer to a mistake I made or my way of life when I saw in a much cloudier headspace and displaying pitiful work ethic. It was unhealthy.
I'm now moved out from home, living in a new city and learning to find my own solutions to my problems.
She's hardly been on my mind and I'm relieved; shame to say, but that's how it is.
Again; real happy for you. All the best for you both.
...Are you going to MFF? I'd love to meet you there and share our works.
Yes, I'll be at MFF! I'll see you there, I'm sure. Artist Alley is only so large. (:
Just thank you for sharing it.
