I just hope you keep it to sane level.. I've seen other artists sacrifice quality for quantity too easily. That would be a shame..

We'll see. At first I didn't think about doing commissions at all. But the temptation was strong...
I'd like to be able to do 0.5-2 hour speedpaints. Not for regular commissions. It may improve skill. So far even sketching usually takes more time than that.

As for oriental background: I'd ask you to give a couple of examples, I'm not quite sure what it is.

I draw such things as internals/closeups on separate layers and they may be disabled easily. Moreover, my commissioners may get source PSD and disable those layers if they want (even hide my signature if they want, but only for personal use)

I had this type of commissions before for $5 per shot.
But then I realized that it takes a lot of time to understand how it should look, "design" it a bit, find references in some cases and so on. In other words drawing first frame should cost more than that for unfamiliar species or for unusual designs. I temporarily removed this kind of commissions from my commissions info to sort it out later.
Though for felines there shouldn't be such a problem. I can do that. And for a female too, that's what I'm drawing right now.
