Howdy!

So, I have been away from FA for a good, long while. I have been very detached from my "internet hobbies" and other such things. However, I have not stopped creating and drawing! I have so many things to show you guys! As I find more time in my boring, busy life, I will try to get back into doing things I love.
In my absence, I have re-evaluated my fursona design yet again and made some pretty big changes. These will be released in a five-part comic that I worked up and am pretty happy with.
Along with all of Tippy's new designs, she now has a mate! Even though my fiancé is not into furries in the slightest, he has helped me design a dreamy ram for my little goat girl. She no longer has to wander alone. :]
Anywho! I will try my hardest to be more frequent in my submissions and try to keep updated.

I'm all about the fuzzy advice! Just hit me up with any questions whenever you like. :D
The cubes and hammocks are (miraculously) still holding up! They love the mess out of them. I can't even take their favorite hammock away to be cleaned without them pouting. All five pile into whichever is the current favorite at the moment. I'm surprised they haven't worn from the strain. But, alas, winter is coming. The fuzzies will be fatter and the real test begins!
One way to look at their diet is with this mindset: if you eat Taco Bell every single day you're gonna smell bad and be lethargic and most likely will end up with cancer down the road. That's what kibble is to ferrets.
But anyway, I just digressed a lot. I had no idea you guys were moving! That's fantastic! You'll be a lot closer now. :D
$6.99 10lb bag of chicken quarters
$1.80 pack hearts/gizzards
$1.25 chicken livers
$3.00 other protein source meat on sale
The 10lb bag of chicken quarters typically lasts 1 1/2 weeks, as we do 1 per day and it comes with 10. And that's all for 5 fuzzies. It's best to toss in some whole prey too, a frozen mouse or do, as the brains are crazy rich in nutrition. They really do not eat a lot. If you only get one fuzzbutt, you could easily freeze the meat (don't hnderestimste a ferret's love for meatcicles) and it would last you ages. They're literally our cheapest pets.
Also, be sure to get wheat litter, as the clay stuff can cause serious harm to their respiratory system. We use Swheat Scoop Multicat.
Any time you feel you have extra fuzz cubes or hammocks laying around, we would be more than happy to accept them! I still need to sew you a hat in return. :B
We got all of ours from Petco on sale and they're healthy as can be after switching their diet. Pretty much impossible to not get a Marshalls ferret unless you find s breeder. :/ Also, it's easiest to switch babies, as adults can imprint on their kibble pretty hard. Btw, Petco gets their shipment on babies in on Thursdays.
If you get a mentor on Holistic, I highly recommend Katrina Crouch. She mentored me and is veeery knowledgable and easy to access. She was actually Kris's gf back in the day, but they're still good friends hehe. She has a crazy amount of pet experience from snakes, to lizards, to breeding mice, and of course ferrets. Feel free to ask me anything too. :3
You have the cutest ham by the way!
Guh, poor Tiri! He had it rough. :[ Traded because it was the "wrong pet". Sheesh. Yeah, I love our Petco. It is staffed with a lot of knowledgable and caring pet people. I honestly don't know why Petcos get so much flack. They take really good care of their pets.
If our bank account was more affectionate, we would make a trip to Atlanta to see you an Tommy. But maybe in the future. We could all go to Six Flags.or something! Or, better yet, a furcon!:D
But one day.
One day.
I've heard UGA has a pretty decent vet school, not as good as Auburn, but not bad. That does sound like a really fun career. I totes know what you mean, though. I have a degree and work at a dry cleaners. .__. Granted, it's the cushiest job ever and the bosses are crazy nice, but it doesn't pay what I need.
Alabama may not have cons, but Auburn has a chitin of furs around here that are constantly getting together for events and fun. :]
We'd be thrilled to have you up here! You can see all 12 of our pets. (HolycrapIfeellikeananimalhoardernow...)
furcon*
Yeah, there's a huge group of furs here, but I am so disconnected. I never hang out with them and only talk to a few. I've made some cool hoodies for a couple, but ehh, just too busy to find my social life.
I have so many pieces of my suit I need resin for (hooves, finger hooves, horns, possibly head), I honestly think it would be cheaper to get into making my own. But it looks so scary. It sure does look fun to work with in terms of foam and fur, and a helluva lot more comfortable at that. Trading for a base is a good idea. At least for practice. You really should make one for you to keep, hehe. Your heads are looking better and better every one I see! :D
Never too late for a party~!
