~It's not a game, I'm not a robot AI challenging you,
I'm not a phantom,
I'm in your face, and
I'm here to see it through
Right before your eyes,
Watch us multiply,
Come to claim our rights - it's time
As our power grows,
Tryin' to stop us shows,
Might as well go try'n stop time

Well, I've never really done any kind of review, but.. I dunno, after seeing this, I felt I wanted to share my opinion and thoughts, and perhaps see what everyone thought.
So, general direction, I last read Boom would be it's own thing. I DO prefer it that way, but I have some thought on that, but we'll discuss that aspect a bit further down.
First, style, overall it looks rather fine, the characters look good overall. Sonic still seems a bit off putting, but it's not.. bad persay. But Knuckles... my god... I mean, I get it, I understand the choice, but I'll never be okay with it guys, sorry xp, I just... can't not imagine him like, gliding like that, I dunno.
Now, voice cast. Honestly, it's the best we've had in years, Sonic is sounding his best since he got his very first voice actor in Adventure if you ask me, Tail's sounds like a boy, which has been a bit hit and miss, Knux sounds like knux, despite not looking at him. Eggman keeps up his streak of amazing voice actors. Sticks... is both too new as a character over all for me to judge, but I like her okay. But man, Amy, she feels like the only dud in the room. I feel, despite herself, that Amy has done a good job overall when it comes to having good voice actors. Maybe she'll grow into that, but I find her to be the most grating, despite not really having any issues with her character.
Now, what I would say is the most important part, the comedy. I like it. Really, it makes me laugh, and I'll keep watching it for that alone. I mean, some of the set ups and such DO come off way too.. cartoony, Tails getting fired, trying to higher a new side kick, Eggman living with them because his base was destroyed. I mean it is a kids show, so I suppose it flies, I do find it... a bit distracting at times. BUT, the lines, and delivery are rather lovely. Many of the jokes are smartly written. Amy may have left me groaning, but Sonic was getting laughs out of me. And Sonic was always a wise as, but I'm not sure there was THAT many times he got me really laughing. So as a kids show, it's doing well.
Now this is the part were the critic comes in. Story. Now, this is a kids show, that's fine, but it's the story that get's under my skin a bit. Mostly because it reeks a bit of Sonic Colors and Lost World. Honestly, if the series goes this route overall, Sonic Boom is at least a bit better than Colors. But man do I not wanna see that... I mean Sonic HAS gone through some rough times, and Colors helped pull us out of that.... And I know I'm going to get teased about caring about the story ina SONIC game. But I remember.... Adventure one and two. Fun Sonic games with food stories. Of course "06" screwed this all to hell. But I still miss it. Adventure one was the first time I felt they really TRIED for a story, and they did a pretty damn good job of it. Heck, Mario tried that in Sunshine, and now we never see much voice acting, or a cutscene, ever.
But yeah, that's me thoughts. I'm going to keep watching it and see how it goes. I suppose if it makes Sonic more popular it may could lead to better games... Honestly I'm not sure if the show is good for Sonic as a whole. But in, of itself, is a pretty good show. So I'm going to give it a shot, and what will be, will be.
Thank you for reading a bit of my ramblings, and if you have anything to say, please comment bellow, I would love a bit of dialog.

I feel they are trying a little to hard. I hate when companies over do the child friendly factor
