Some non milk, water based ice cream is good for the sore gums. Just pass the ice cream over them as best you can tolerate. It pains but made the healing more faster. I took mines away 2 years ago and that helps a lot really.

It's my first time, the anesthesia kind of didn't take hold, and it stressed me out something fierce (the pain wasn't that bad but it surprised me that a tiny nerve block the injection). Having the ibuprofen helps lessen the pain a bit.

If that's what it takes to do what you ened to, don't feel bad for it. Everyone's different. I was a total wuss about taking pills for yeaaaarssss. >.>;; I do recall the first time I had to, I chocked once or twice and couldn't swallow it. *chuckles* I'm glad you're getting your meds in - I never had my wisdom teeth pulled but I'm wondering if I shouldn't.

It really depends on how they grow and the size of your jaw!
My jaw is small and all my permanent teeth are big, so it made it hard with my braces (4 adult teeth had to be removed). I need to get the other 3 out, but I'm taking it slow. That and the dentist recommended just taking out the most urgent one.

Yeah, they hurt a bit when they were growing in, but they're fine now. Just a pain to take care of. Also I chipped a tooth mooooonths ago and haven't been to the dentist. *cough* Lack of insurance sucks. Oh so you got ALL your wisdom teeth out, and you need to remove another 3?! Or you have 4 total and 1 down?

The latter is correct. 1 down and 3 more to go.
Luckily insurance covered the extraction but not the antibiotics or painkillers :C

Oh cool. I...probably should've had mine removed back before I hit 25 and could still use my mother's dental insurance. XD It wasn't urgent though, or really needed, and I like to avoid pain when I can. :P Good luck getting the others removed, hm? Take all the painkillers~ <3

They're literally crumbling out of my mouth. I don't know why. And one is broke in such a way it cuts into my cheek when I chew a certain way.
I need to get on health insurance already. No one to blame but myself.

Only one was taken out because it needed immediate extraction, it basically was growing into my cheek -__-;
I need the other 3 taken out but they seem to not be screwing my teeth over though, except the bottom right one, the two on top can stay (but well I signed a waiver already giving them permission to take out the other 3).

In that case, might as well get the others out. Might end up causing you more problems in the future.
Wisdom teeth are assholes.
