I'm curious

Could someone explain to me the appeal of the Five Nights series? I don't mean to be of contrary opinion just for its own sake but I don't see the allure to it other than temporary atmosphere and only jump scares, and having watched through play-throughs of it, I can only wonder if the fearful reactions are put on by the players. Sure, there's an atmosphere of vulnerability and there's definitely going to be a sense of fear of something coming after you, but that seems to be it. I'm sure that's fine in the early stages but it's gotta get to a point where even the easiest jump-scare victim is going to go "Oh, whatever.", right?
I'd be glad if someone could educate me further on the matter. ^.^

B: It's not a horror game. it's a Stress Management game. It's not about getting scared like a horor game. it's about AVOIDING the jump scares. Managing the stress, keeping calm, even when the tension ratchets up to insane levels.
B: Oh? Interesting way of looking at it. I admit, I like the idea of the creeping tension, that's certainly effective.
Seriously tho, i seen some sexy pron art of FNaF too.
But I'm also legitimately intrigued by the game's story and the fact it's also a strategy game.
I like strategy, even if it's just as simple as how many guns and bullets to bring to a fist fight.
Yay strategy, at least. :3
I've never even heard of this game. Obviously I've been out of touch with furries too long haha.
Was watching people play PT, which has a lot of jump scares, and I jumped/screamed every time that woman jumped out. I am super shit at those games lol.
And sorry for the hidden post above. Never anyone mind what account I accidentally posted with. :p
