Has this sort of thing ever happened to anyone else???

The situation would usually start off with me innocently accepting a friend request on Facebook or Skype they ask me some simple questions no big deal then they go into this heart wrenching story and claim to need my help at this point I feel bad for the person and agree but then they say they need access to personal info (like bank info) I tell them I can't do that and they guilt trip me so I tell them off

I almost had one such scammer this morning!

Please tell me I'm not the only sucker these people go after
