Being a fan of the Saw series (and a lot of my friends know it), I had to get Saw V on DVD. Saw it in the theater in October, and traditionally had to get the DVD when it was released. It didn't do very well among critics and horror fans, but the die-hard Saw fans still appreciated the fifth installment into the series. I know I did. :D I know a lot of people will say that the movie didn't really offer anything new, just tried to uncover more ground that didn't even need to be uncovered, but what more can you feature after Jigsaw's death occurred? I see it as an attempt to wrap up any and all loose ends before officially ending the series. Rumor has it that Saw VII will be the final Saw movie. Saw V may have turned away some fans, but I hope that the series doesn't end on a sour note because of the decline in interest.

I'm still not thrilled over Universal's decision to cease and nullify any filming and production on Jurassic Park IV. I was really looking forward to seeing that film. According to media, the movie project is scrapped because of Crichton's death and Spielberg doesn't want to embark on the project when its own creator is no longer with us. Having read about this, and then seeing the page removed from the IMDB, you know they're being serious about it.

As I slowly get over this nasty congestion, I should be ready to return the Time Machine Show back on the airwaves soon. I will post in advance on its return.
