We just went to feed him and he was just.. dead. He was fine last night. I'm not sure what happened. I know that rats usually live 2-4 years or so, and he was about 3 so he had a decent lifespan.. he just didn't seem to have any sort of health issues. He was lively, active, no tumors or anything..

I guess I should be grateful that he lived for so long, being a feeder rat... but it's never fun to lose a pet. I feel bad because I haven't cried or anything, but I am sad/upset. I guess I just don't know how to react.
