I've been thinking recently about the old goofy nonsense sayings I used to have as a kid. Some of them were really strange and now I can't get them out of my head!

I think my favorite at the time was this one chant I would sing while holding my cat. I'd repeat "Rocket launcher kitty! Meow meow meow meow," over and over again in a sing songy kind of voice. I doubt my cat enjoyed it, but she still spent every night on my bed so I think she forgave me.

The most nonsense one was the one we said the most. If anyone remembers the theme song to the commercial "sock'em boppers," it uses the first part of that melody. We'd sing "moshke boo boo, moshke boo boo," on repeat. It had no meaning and we loved it.

The last one is my mothers and my current favorite. When I was little, I miss heard the lyrics to the song "American Woman." I thought it was saying "naked women," and I still think to this day that the lyrics make a whole lot more sense that way. Just imagine a car full of little kids singing, "Naked woman, stay away from meeeeheeee! Naked woman, mama, let me beeeeheee!"
