I've heard they had issues with the site slowing down because of too many watchers getting a submission at once (really?!), and then they tried a phased thing where the submission would be rolled out in waves over time... but this seems like it's not even going through except for maybe 1/3 of the users. Hard to say as it's all anecdotal, but a lot of artists are noticing a severe drop off on pageviews/favs/comments :S

Ever since that DDOS attack, things have been a bit wonky.

Yeah, it was slow before that, but now it crashes all the time.

They are showing up, but sometimes it will be slow. I've even noticed that after refreshing several times over as many minutes, the site's server time hasn't changed, even though new submissions are still rolling out without issue but also without notifications.

Whenever I post an image, I get a 'site not found' page after a few minutes of processing. Then FA won't load and keeps giving me that page for a few minutes. At first I thought I broke the site or something, but I've asked Kay to check when it happens and it loads for her. Weird!

Site admins are also "working" on the issue. I don't mean to demean whatever work they are doing, but considering the only information I have is the Trello page the dev team has, I can't attest to anything other than speculation of whether or not actual work is being done. :/

I heard something about trouble tickets being ignored. Who knows at this point :/

They did get a new coder on board though ( starrykitten) who seems to be quite active. So that gives me some hope that some issues will be ironed out soon :3

I've got one I've been waiting on for 5 months now. I don't know if they're not seeing it, or just don't want to tackle the issues :/

Most of my issues are about cub porn. If they don't want to deal with the pedos I will gladly give them the boot ;D
But yeah, my tickets are also about three months old now. Technically they are older because I closed older tickets and reposted them, so some of these tickets are actually like 5 or 6 months old now.
The problem is simply that the ticket system is a convoluted mess. Tickets for the same issue aren't grouped, they are all individual tickets.
I recently made a thread to ask about open tickets on the FA forums. The reply I got is this:
"What I will say though is something a mainsite admin told me recently: Apparently half the tickets (probably an exaggeration, but still a good amount) could be solved if people actually looked through their tickets to see if they're relevant anymore or not, and if not, people should close them themselves instead of waiting for an admin response which takes up valuble time."
So apparently this is all our fault because we aren't checking our tickets, which is actually their job and not ours :P

Translates to "We don't want to actually deal with the issues, so we'll ignore it until it goes away"

I've had the same issue with my music; I've all but given up on updating my stuff :/ From what I've seen, though, most (if not all) of your stuff has popped up on my feed.

Same here, only it takes me like 10 refreshes for FA to get past the 'site not found' cloud screen :S

In all honesty, besides the slowness of uploading the image i have not run into any issues. And in fact i have gotten way more feedback, comments and favorites recently than the whole previous year. It might just have something to do with the people following you.

It's not just me though. It's other artists too. Either a bunch of artists are collectively having a drop off in feedback/views, or the site is not working properly.

Whenever I upload, it takes foreeeeever and sometimes gets that 524 error. When it takes a long time, it doesn't generate submission notifications until the actual submission page loads (tested this with a couple of people). I'm not sure, but there might not be any (or at least a lot of) notifications generated when the 524 error happens.

I get the 524 error every time. At first if I refreshed it would load my page. Now when I refresh it just gives me the error page again. It takes a few minutes and several refreshes for anything to load up.

I've noticed my recent art has been getting a lot less views/comments than usual, and at first I was like 'are people not liking my recent work?' but then I saw others were having the same issue, so I think only a portion of users are getting the submissions in their inboxes :S

Yeah, I get the views/comments thing. I've uploaded some things that normally would have gotten quite a few comments, only to get one or two, and quite a lot fewer faves/views.

When I submit art, I was doing fine.

I too have the crashing each time, but the submission still goes though regardless of the 502 error. So that's not too big of an issue for me since I can work around it.
I have noticed the lack of comments too, but I assumed that was just due to a decline in interest rather than a issue with the site. I've never had troubles commenting on other peoples art or faving it either that I know of. It's possible that traffic is down due to so many people spreading through numerous sites, including tumblr.

If you haven't already change the http to https in the address and it should fix some problems

In all seriousness, FA pages are taking eons to load lately and it's quite frustrating.
I've seen some of your stuff, but I'm not sure if all of it has.

I do see it appear in my inbox perfectly fine, and while I'd not been affected by that issue, i have seen others talk about it so far.

I suppose it's some sort of server issue? but one thing I notice is FA seems significantly slower these days, as in it seems to take longer to load pages.

Already watching the blog. Probably for the best since FA seems to be about as reliable as an old ENIAC computer these days

Yea I had this same problem before, really frustrating when uploading and it does nothing but returns a time out which is weird. Assuming FA are going to get it sorted.
