SOP for downtime!

So, FA is going down in a few days. Now is the best time to alert users to other means of contacting you in case of trouble! For example, you can contact me (socks) on Weasyl here: https://www.weasyl.com/~socksthefox
For all artists: I would strongly advise you have other sites like Weasyl where users can find you! Get things set up now so you're ready for the downtime. I'd also suggest keeping it up to date and make sure your users know you can be found there for if FA has any unplanned downtime in the future.
For all with outstanding commissions with any artist: Please, ask for other ways to get in touch! It'd really suck if this planned downtime ended up taking a few days because of some problem or another and you can't get your commission because nobody knows how to get in touch with you! Most likely they'll have a profile on another site (like Weasyl) where you can send them messages.
Don't keep all your eggs in one basket! There is nothing wrong with signing up on another site. You don't even have to leave FA! Just make it easy on yourself when FA goes down and have all this set up ahead of time.
