You can't play off that "You are getting so worked up!" nonsense while starting an argument on someone else's journal like that. And sorry but sean pische has proven time and time again that he can't be trusted, yet so many artists are forced to stay on this site due to the huge amount of FAs population being ignorant about all the things he's done. It's never as simple as saying "duh, why don't you just leave?". If you were forced on a website that keeps breaking, never updating, and is completely unsecure, then I think you have every right to be bothered by that. I'm really going to miss you... But I udnerstand, sometimes you got to do what you got to do. I'd love to have your Weasyl account though. I don't really go on that much (It's so hard to run 4 sites and I forget about Weasyl >_<) but I'll try to make an effort to sign on more because I do love your work and you're a nice person.

Yeah, FA isn't the best place but no site is perfect really. I only like this place because of the different artists I have met and some of the awesome anthro type art (I use DeviantARt more for human art). I just wish this site would implement a group system similar to DeviantARt. It can help discover new budding artists who get cast aside and undiscovered.

It is rather hard to get noticed on fa, though that's just the furry fandom in general.

You kind of have a point about it being hard to get noticed, especially if you don't do porn because let's be honest, that is the main skyrocketing thing here. I'm not saying this out of bitterness at all, I understand it. But i just like this place because anthro type art isn't such a stigmatized area to submit it which is why i like the site.

I think the porn thing's more humans are very sexual beings (simply look at it in our media and store names, such as sexy lingerie)

I'm not trying to say porn is bad, every art style has it's niche, I'm just saying for anyone who actually browses here, it's pretty obvious what the huge sell point is so if you're doing clean art, you better be bloody good otherwise, you may not get the attention you want here., you'll be better off on DeviantART. But if you remember to not have too high expectations, it shouldn't bother you too much.

while yes, you can get more notice for clean art on Deviantart, there's so many pictures and drawings on that site that it's really hard to find the good artists on it from browsing

Maybe, that's why it's better to use groups I think. The only time I browse the search engine is when I'm looking for something specific and I usually find lots of good stuff. I suppose it helps that I'm not really into the mainstream stuff like Adventure Time or My Little Pony so I don't have to worry about seeing too much of that stuff.

i didn't used to either, years ago when i joined on my first account here, i used to just go with the flow and when big "drama" would happen i would just ignore it and wait for it to die down again.

but then, around the time of the zaush fiasco, i started paying attention, and digging up the old shit i used to ignore and realizing how bad it's always been.

I understand. I feel part of the reason I don't have much of an opinion on this place is because I'm rarely on here. All I do is submit some anthro art, take a look at the art I'm watching and then I'm pretty much gone. DeviantART as bad as it can be is my main base of operation. If Weasyl does pick up in traffic and quality, that may end up being my main base of operation for anthro art for sure.

But again, I don't blame you for leaving. We all have to do what we have to do and I wish you luck. I'm definitely going to keep an eye on your stuff on Tumblr for sure. I love your style and you're a nice person.
