Had it just been you I wouldn't have thought too much about it. But it was basically everyone I know online voted against me. And most were a bit dickish with comments and it wound up just really hurting me. I don't mind losing but when I hold a vote thig I would much rather win else I would just commission the art directly. Just one of those cases where I felt totally abandoned by everyone.

My answer in your question is no Zavis, you are wrong, no one wants to see you losing, no one wants to see you down, no one is here to hurt your feelings or making you feel shitty, no one hates you so please, put those useless self-defeating and soul consuming thoughts aside for the sake of your equanimity.

All that happened here was us playing an innocent prank at you, something just to have fun, at best or we just took a gander at a POLL, we thought that both options were valid, you (as you had set up this poll) had no problem giving us either option and that the ending outcome mattered little so we voted on our preferences at worst.

This was by no means an indicator of how we feel about you, how much we like you or how much a cool person we believe you are, you are exaggerating a minor event.

Ish normally my art that is fight related is decided by coin flip or by vote. Those that I specifically commission tend to be gifts. In every vote zavis has lost and most of his wins are via coin flip or specific request by he person recievin the gift the pictures that break this rule tend to have a mirrored set showin zavis winning and losing to the same opponent for the sake of balance. Every time I have offered Zavis up to the public to decide his fate it has always turned out in a loss, minus a death tournament I entered him in and he barely won his first match there and it is still ongoing.

I am asking why do people like to see him lose. I get lots of message asking for me to offer up Zavis to fight with the goal of him losing. I get tons of comments of it is so sexy when you lose, or I like to see Zavis lose. Even when asking folks during this last vote, I was told by several I just like to see you lose.

I am asking why.

Example, people like to see Summer win cause she is a favorite character of theirs and people greatly enjoy seeing her win due to most of her art is of her losing. About the same with Green. Counter point Sable people like to see her win and lose equally as she relishes both aspects.

I like to see Zavis win and dominate and when I get personal art I tend to get that commissioned, but when other folks give me their two cent on the subject the majority says we like to see Zavis lose. I want to know why.

Because these were a mixture of gifts to people for birthdays or holidays. Or just me being a nice guy cause I am a nice guy. I get art I know I will like and people will enjoy. Here is the thing. I love all but one of the pictures in my gallery. There is only one that pisses me off. The rest that were gifts, or poll fights, or anything like that, I adore. I like the art style there are in and I love the fun and passion in the images. The only one I hate you should be able to guess. I love the style of the image, I love the colors, and I like the artist and his work a lot. The only reason I hate it is because of the drama that went down around it. I have no problem getting art for others, I take more joy in getting other people art they love then I honestly get in just getting pieces for myself. It is just bothersome that on the rare occasion I wanted to try something fun, people screwed me over because lol it would be funny.

Other then that I have loved all the art of Zavis winning and losing. It just makes no sense that when you post up something for a vote that people would want me to lose because it would be funny and think I would be ok with being screwed over like that.

There is a difference in being ok with a result, and being told the only reason we voted against you was to fuck with you. That is the most messed up thing I can think of. One just said I like to see you lose I find it sexy, ok what ever. However when folks tell me I did it cause it was funny to make you lose. Ok think about this. When you enter a contest don't you want to win? Why would you enter if you wanted to lose. So if I set up a vote a contest of me vs someone else I want to win else I would just not do it. I was ok with losing but I wanted to win like everyone who enters a contes wants to.

I want to win, everyone wants to win, however if I myself put a poll in my journals and in that journal I give two options without any external pressure then everyone is going to assume that I have no problem with either option and I will let democracy have its way.

This isn't an angle I ever thought about because I never realized (in most of the RPs we've done, I think we've had a good back and forth and I certainly don't mind it when you won...I mean, Brad minded the last one but I sure as hell didn't; it was hot). In any case, you seem to like to go dominant in RP-form. In your writing, when you can help it, you like to win or you like to have the superior position. Maybe this is sort of the viewer's way of making up for that. You tend to win outside of art, so maybe they think it will be even for you to lose in art. there is also the possibility that some people just like to see you lose because that is their personal kink; they like the normally-dominant guy on his knees and getting railed. Either way, it's a case where you are normally presented as a cocky but hot and dominant stud and people either feel a need to or want to see that person lose. It's just a theory though.
