I've been on and off sick for the last 20 days. First with flu-like symptoms. I seemed to get a bit better (with very minor flu-like symptoms) but a week ago I got a tooth infection. Although I took my antibiotics all through the weekend, early Monday morning my cheek swelled to 2.5x it's regular size. I already have chipmunk cheeks, but this was absolutely ridiculous. I had a root canal scheduled for that tooth and even though the infection had spread to my cheek, he did it anyways and told me I needed to go to the hospital to get IV antibiotics. >_< Around 8PM I get my IV antibiotics and was told I needed to go into the outpatient clinic the next morning to get stuck with another IV, in a better place than it was, so I could get my IV fluids at home. O_O Nooooooooo!!!! Tuesday morning I go in, I severely didn't want to go out because seriously... I looked like hell. Got everything sorted out there and left with my nifty fanny pack with my IV pump and medication. I was only supposed to have it in for 2 days. Fine, whatever... I can hide in my house for 2 days, NO PROBLEM! Go in today, it's not working as fast as they want it to.... fuck.... they want to keep it in for another 2 days... Fuck..... I can't draw because I can't put my wrist at the angle I usually have it when I draw on my tablet.... FUCK. Serioulsy... I'm drawing like a 3 year old right now. And oh god the pain... I can't talk or smile without pain! My face is a temporary resting bitch face. It's scary. I can't wait until Saturday... hopefully I'll get this god damned thing out so I can finish some pieces!!!!! Maybe my cheek will go down enough so I don't look like a squirrel harbouring nuts in his cheek for winter. Here's hoping!
