Surgery nearing!~

Friendly reminder that I have moved to

Kragith this is where you will find all things Kragith and Rkar! So my consultation is on the 2nd, the reason I am doing one is because of where the hernia is located. I will say its not in the greatest of places, (yes its yea...) but has caused no damage. Its the removal process that I worry about. I know these are surgeons and they know what they are doing... But I don't like the fact that Im going to be put under and be cut open like this, (its being done in a typical fashion, they aren't opening it any other way, only below the belly and in-between the beginning of the leg crease) especially like how it must be done. Lately I think this hernia has been making me feel really sick. I have what you call a inguinal hernia. The diagnosis is that it is very large, yet everything has perfect blood flow, so again no damage. Im 20, I noticed this thing at the age of 12-13. It bothered me my freshman year when it hurt like I was being ripped to pieces (this was what happened, that wall was being stretched and torn) ever since it has gotten bigger and bigger. Its now to the point where its bothering me. Thus the reason for the surgery. But yes I have been feeling oddly ill lately, having issues with feeling the need to eat anything. I do eat and drink lots of fluids, but somethings up. I have an on and off fever , cough, but its not a typical illness in that it goes away and comes back only when Im not moving much.
In other news my arm is doing SOSOSOSOSOSOSOSO much better, its slow healing but its still very much obvious it was cut open... this is a bit disturbing to me.
Just thought I would leave an update for those who have ben wondering.

And I'm glad your arm is doing better, can you move it around freely without much pain now? All this surgery probably feels a bit... invasive, but I'm sure it will be nice to be done with both the arm and hernia pretty shortly. And I hope you're able to get rid of the sickness, that type of illness sounds pretty unpleasant that it keeps recurring, I guess it's good that it goes away when you're staying active though. Anyways, glad to hear it and I hope you feel better :)
Yea i can move it about no problem. Just that its an open wound so I must be very careful. The sickness thing is really wearing me out too... Thanks and I will keep everyone updated on whats next. Tuesday will be a long day for me.
