You're a creator. An artist. It's like tipping or commissioning except you don't expect anything except more art from the artist in GENERAL.

From what the webpage Myfi put up, Followers of your page can financially support you with your projects.

never did it, but i think it is some sort of crowd-funding in combination with a subsribtion, that means any supporters are donating every month some money and for that you as the artist are going to release special vip projects just for the donators (correct me if i'm wrong, but i think this is the main idea of patreon)
