I must admit to sharing your feelings about my own particular form of creativity of late - it seems like all of the hard work and creative energy I pour into my work goes poof, into the air, unseen.

It feels insane to admit it, but I sometimes find myself creating something just to create it, for its own sake, but of late? It does seem like a lot of work with very little payoff or joy.

Yup yup, it's how I feel when I run on empty most of the time. got nothing to work with, no ideas or anything.
