I remember seeing a picture on this site of Big Mac writing to Princess Celestia in a very intellectual tone about the unfair matriarchy, only to e dismissed as 'That's so cute!'

That might sum up Equestria.

I'd love to see more types of animation used in the show! They've already used paper cutouts (for the episode "A Friend In Deed") and CGI (for the Timber Wolves in "Spike at your Service").

And I'm thinking Season 5 will probably show at least ONE hint for the 2017 movie. They gotta hype it up!

1 would be pretty cool, but I haven't read much of the comics...

2 I would love to see, seeing as how I'm a big Spike fan, but I'm not sure how it could play out without something unfortunate being implied.
It would be the same if Apple Jack's parents were to come back on the show. A flashback of them would be okay though.

6 would be interesting, though I can't think of what they could do that they haven't done already... well, that wouldn't be completely jarring to the show. (though Gravity Falls was able to pull off Stop Motion animation in one episode and it still worked...)

9 seeing as how it's so far away, it would be nice to get some kind of clue as to what we will have in store for us in the Equestria film.

the rest I either don't want to see or don't ever expect to see on the show. For good or for bad...

I do like the ideas Spikey Blur and Monterrang have come up with, would love to see an episode with Mac or some other stallion getting the episode to shine, and possibly poke fun at how this seems to be a mare's world and us stallions just live in it.
and anything with Discord in it has my vote! John DeLancie is such an awesome guy!

It's true that suddenly talking about long-lost parents really does open up a large can of worms for those who ask "hey, where were they all this time?" I'd love to see some AJ Flashback's of her parents and her younger life would be heartwarming and a little sad at the same time.

I'd love to see some CGI ponies, even if only for a little bit. Just to try it out.

I gotta see an all-stallions episode. See what's it like. :)

I'd like to see a villain like no other in Equestria, someone who isn't defeated by the end of their two-part debut, has a large, unquestioning following and of whom more will inevitably be seen before they do something devastating with seemingly nothing to be done about it.

Gosh I really want that. Just some season-spanning antagonist who turns out to have more of a grey morality than black and white.

Gotta check with your agent, first. Gotta make some marketing deals with Hasbro's toy division...maybe an Equestria Girls short staring you and BAM! Back in the spotlight.
