1.) Appearance
Sparkle Dachshunds look just like your normal dachshund, except for a few key differences.
The first, more noticeable, difference is that they are unnaturally colored and are usually bright neon colors. The second difference is that they possess small wings which allow flight and levitation (but the wings can be pulled back into their bodies if they do not want their wings out).
Their fur and skin, when viewed up close, has a glittery, and sparkly texture. Think of, a mix between fur and tinsel. It has a glossy, soft feel to it. Their eyes can have colored pupils, but normal black is just as common. They can have claws, like regular dogs, and they typically can be any color.
Similar to Care Bears, or My Little Ponies, they possess a common symbol, or "cutie mark" on their bodies, representing their specialty. For example, the symbols can be hearts, rain drops, leaves, etc.
They also have the ability to glow. Their saliva/blood/other bodily fluids are rainbow.
2.) Temperament/Personality
Since Sparkle Dachshunds originate from a land where there is no negativity, these creatures do not experience any negative feelings, such as anger, sadness, jealousy, etc. They do not feel pain, and cannot get sick. They are always happy-go-lucky creatures, enjoying playing with one another, and making others smile.
3.)Health
Sparkle Dachshunds cannot ever get sick, or get diseases, as they are completely immune from it. They do not feel pain, and they possess unnatural healing abilities. An injured Sparkle Dachshund will be healed within a few hours to a day, leaving no scar. If a limb has been severed, it can grow back almost immediately. They are pretty much ageless and immortal as they are unnatural, fairy-like creatures.
4.) Hybridization
Hybrid Sparkle Dachshunds, which have interbred with normal dachshunds, are mainly natural-colored, but may have a few unnatural colorations or markings. For example, a hybrid may be dapple-colored, but have neon-colored eyes or splotches, showing hints of their Sparkle Dachshund heritage. CLICK for an example of a hybrid! Hybrids are infertile and cannot reproduce, and do not possess wings, and are susceptible to sickness, though they recover more quickly from it than normal dachshunds. Hybrids are not considered immortal, but they occasionally tend to live much more longer than their normal cousins.

Sparkle Dachshunds live in a fantasy, dream-like world where everyone gets along and there is no negativity. Other unnatural beings like faeries and the occasional dragon live here. Fruit is abundant and free for the picking and eating.
