So this marks the 3rd and last con for me for 2014. I've never been to this many cons in one year!
I helped my lovely
tygurstar out at her table all weekend, we had a good weekend overall and met some awesome customers and attendees! It was my first time helping out 'full time', and it was a blast!
Of course there was a kerfuffle one night and I won't make too much out of it, the staff of both the con and hotel were very good to us, the responders were outstanding and I applaud all of their incredibly diligent and hard work. I like to remind everyone that no mater how bad a time you're having when something bad happens, the staff and responders are having no less than 3x as bad a time, they're just as uncomfortable, they're on duty before, during and after, and they have to keep us all safe: and they deserve our thanks!
I *did* get a chance to meet up with a few furs I know,
desertgunbunny and 
kimmerzgreywolf and another fur (sorry I don't remember your name man! But it was good to meet you!) flagged me down and I tried to hang tight with them for a while but split after a while Ty was feeling rough from lack of sleep and the cold outside so eventually we split up and settled down by an exit with some wall space to wait for the all clear.
While it was a rough night, it was awesome to see some FurFright alumni and friends!
I also ran into
kinshasa twice over the weekend, another friend from far away who it was amazing to see, if only or a moment or two.
We saw lots and lots of others who are old friends or people we just met this weekend. I hope everyone had a great convention and enjoys the coming holidays!
