MFF Post-Con Report
It was a blast, though I continue to be leery of the con in general. I'm still not that comfortable with so many people - especially fursuiters! - in such a small space with the limited movement available.
Friday:
Got in early - as usual. Found out when the photo shoot was, saw
bixx-katt almost immediately and got a quick chat in with her, followed by walking around, buying a staff from Butch that I'd wanted for a few years, another talk with Bixx, the photo shoot (unfortunately there were comm issues with Bixx that weekend, so I couldn't do it with her), talking to Bixx, and being scanned by the 3D printer people! Allura's going to have a miniature!
Then I got to have dinner with Bixx, which was nice because I interact with people best in quiet, relaxed atmospheres.
Saturday:
Started out with some fursuiting and ended up running back to my room flustered by Shawshank. If that Crux shows up again next year (and I'm not too far away to come to MFF), I'm going to be ready. I got busy in the gaming room and managed to miss the parade :/ I wasn't sure I wanted to go, but I would have liked to have the choice.
Bixx's suit and comms were down, so in the end I quadsuited alone (except of course for my wonderful handler for the con,
lunasparkle who unfortunately had dinner plans so we had to make it a quick one. I hope pics of Thrak and Allura surface eventually). I would have done the photo shoot in quad, but I got there at 5:04 and it closed at 5:00 >:(
demuto missed Thrak, but I got to talk to him just after, which was a good conversation.
Sunday:
Then came the evacuation, which I was sort of happy for since it meant I got another three hours to talk to Bixx and say goodbye to her. I hadn't expected to and she's the biggest reason I do MFF. In the end it didn't seem worth going back to bed, so I ended up bailing early from the con. Still worth it, though. I'd rather spend the time with her than have a couple extra hours of con time.
All in all I had fun, but MFF remains a con I have trouble relaxing at. If I'm doing it again next year, I'll see how much time off I can get and maybe make it an extended one. Not sure yet.

I'm not very dynamic even when I'm on the program. I'm very good at being where I need to be at the proper time, but I try not to make a hurry out of it when I can help it. I can pretty much guarantee that GrangeCon will be a very quiet con where nobody needs you to do anything fast except get out of the way for the bake-off and out of the con suite when we close.
Lol, no comment on the last part. He seemed nice, but in need of reassurance as well.
