Finishing all the icons + Asking for advice

I'm almost done with the main list and during the weekend i will go over the waiting list and the previous commissioners who got their icons removed, so i *should* be back soon enough with fresh new slots :) (and hopefully some new bases!!)
I need advice though, on two things! So if you're someone who takes commissions or buys them and can give me perspective on these issues i will be very grateful :)
1) I was working on some bulge icons cus i figured that would be the kind of sexy and fun stuff FA people would appreciate, but now I know that they can't be used as icons as they are not in the "general" section :( Would anyone still be interested in having those just for their gallery, like a template? Or do you think I should make YCH out of those, as people would prefer them as unique piece if it's for their gallery? I really don't know :s
2) When i open for icons it's because I *really* need money, like, for groceries and stuff, and since i am myself always in a tight spot when it comes to money I don't hold it against those people who claim a slot and then find themselves short on cash; but when this happens, I always think that there were maybe people who could have committed to the payment. So, what do you suggest: asking for all the money in advance, or half first and half later? What do you think it's fairer?

I had stuff planned for the 500 milestone but I think i should be thinking of the 1000 now!!!! :))))

2. I always do full payment up front personally. If the artist has been around enough I don't even sweat it.
Also keep up dem sexy animations <3
regarding point 1, would you be more interested in a template animation anyone can buy or a one off kind of thing, like a YCH auction?
Idk maybe have like 1 set template and then a few 1 time YCH's ones that are different. That way it doesn't REALLY exclude anyone and those wanting something just for them can bid on the unique ones.
Paying in advance works for me.

Id still like it even if i cant have it as a FA icon. I was getting it as a art piece more than anything.

As for the other bulge one that is not mine i do think it be good as a YCH

2: They should pay up front because they can easily refund the money if something goes wrong.
I would ask for the payment upfront to be honest
1. Yes, do it. People will buy them, I assure you on that. Usually, crotch and butt icons are popular on the site so you'll have no trouble. And a template doesn't hurt either since people like the picture aspect.
2. I usually do payment up front. I remember the first time I did a commission and let the person pay me after I completed, he bailed on it. So seriously, I'd go for payment upfront so you don't run into these kinds of problems.
