Regarding Winter and Weather

Man, the rain makes everything
so shiny and smooth.
If only there were a little ice too.
Ice is like water, but it doesn't move.
The clouds are blocking sun sets and rises.
Wind is messing with the shininess of the water
and making it rough.
Maybe I am just a little disappointed at the moment,
but I do look forward to a colder time.
Cold (like 14°F, -10°C), ice, clear sky, low-set sun, snow...
Actually, gales and fast moving clouds are beautiful too...

What sort of weather is your favorite?
(this journal is icy blue to suit my desired surroundings)

I'm looking forward on visualizing this in my next yoga session~
Wow. It's a little more like a heavy layer of... odd, I have trouble comparing the texture to anything else.
It is rather different from flour haha
That'll never happen in a tropical island.
I'll travel different places. I already found a stay in Pennsylvania, which I'll be visiting a few years later. Of course, in winter.
I'll move to California, live and work there. Hopefully it can snow where I'll be living.
I may visit Georgia too, but I'm not really sure about it.
I hope you have the chance soon. It really is staggeringly beautiful.
Snow could be a bit harsh for me, but I'm willing to take the risks. Heh, even a simple cheap fan set at low makes me freeze sometimes.
I'm the opposite, and don't do well in heat.
anything above 35°C... 95°F, stops all function in me. /ground flop
but winter is fine haha
It's such a nice and cozy feeling.
Sometimes I think I've been punished to be born in such a hot place xD
Gentle, sooting, but not without motion.
I love walking the barren streets while it softly snows
It even snowed on my bday <33 [briefly, now it turned to icy rain p fast]
Man, I hope it does the same on my birthday.
End of january is generally sleet territory though haha
But I honestly do not like getting "moist" very much at all haha
so I like to keep wind and rain separate if possible.
But if it's just a breeze, no problem!
Lightning storms are also beautiful things, when there's no rain or clouds to block it out. Although, a bit scary admittedly, but I think that's part of what makes them so interesting to see. xD
It brings back memories...
Was out kinda deep in the woods, near the sea. No other people about, middle of nowhere,
and an incredible thunderstorm tore the sky in purple and green.
Looking back, it must've been really dangerous haha
but there wasn't really anywhere to go.
I think my most fascinating thunderstorm memory was a few years ago, very early in the morning camping in my backyard with some friends. The sky was so bright it looked like day had already broken, and the way it lit up the leaves on the trees was amazing. After about an hour it started pouring, though, so we all got soaked trying to get to the house. xD
What a brilliant experience. :D
I really love thickly clouded skies and that feeling of thunder rolling in. The wind picking up. It feels like something important is about to happen...
I wish it was like that all the time.
We probably mean the same thing when I talk about speeding clouds and whistling wind.
Strangely exciting. :)
I think grey skies can be really beautiful, especially so when a stormfront is on its way. I like to think they're not as dreary as we're made to believe.
It rains almost every day, and sometimes fog appears, the skies get dark grey, and sunsets are really contradicting because one side is totally dark, and the other is bright and shiny and golden.
Plus, everything is cold at all times, so any time is hot coffee time. The streets get a little more lonely than usual, and seeing the ponds on the street vibrate with the raindrops and the shimmering street lights is just magic.
Rarely though, hailstorms fall, and everything gets a little covered in white, if you're out on the street, the ice falling hurts a bit.
when everything is grey...as the rain seems to stay...shadows seem to pull me in...for they comfort my line of sight...
days like these are more in my favor than others...
the constant subtle raining and the shadowy skies calm me down...
the whole atmosphere is...balanced...in a way...
not much happens...though things do tend to occur...
it makes a good movie day when going to the theater...
even if you are just going out...
though...creepy it may be...
the forests look inviting...
heh...
