A Little Story

Hey guys, so I've got a little story to tell for Christmas day...I was almost in an automobile accident. >.>
I was on my way home from work, and I got up to the turn onto the interstate bypass that goes around the town I work at McDonalds'. I saw this truck coming, it had it's turn signal on like it was gonna turn, so I assumed that it was gonna turn. There was no one coming from the other side, so I eased out and then the driver starts swirling like he didn't see me coming out and we almost ran into one another. O.O Thankfully, we both dodged each other and pulled off onto the side and got out to see if we were alright.
He asked me what was the idea, I told him I saw his turn signal on like he was turning. He looked surprised at me, like he didn't know his turn signal was on. Wow, how do you not know your turn signal is on? Well, I've learned now NOT to pull out in front of someone just because they have their turn signal on, they have to slow down AND turn first, now I don't even trust turn signals anymore. At least, no one was hurt and no damage was done We both thanked God we were still alive and wished each other "Merry Christmas" and parted ways.
So, the lesson for today is, "Don't trust someone's turn signal, you have to wait for them to actually turn before pulling out." Just wanted to tell you all that story. Makes me appreciate life more.
