So I've been working on a new UI for the Secret Pokedex
10 years ago
From the desk of Prof. Bluebird,
It's still a work in progress and very rough around the edges but I hit a really nasty snag with the old interface. I was getting requests to add a better catalog function to make it easier to list the Pokémon and I just couldn't do it on my own. While doing some more research on action script 3.0 I found out that flash comes with a lot of default components that can be customized later. So upon using them I've found that using these default components I can create a more organized pokedex.
Also, I was inspired by some REALLY old software as I was boxing things up. I remember spending hours on Encarta 98 on my dad's old computer and felt inspired to model the UI after it since it was easy to navigate and find stuff. The dropbox link is below. Please try this thing out and tell me what you think of it. I'm also open for any suggestions you might have too.

This isn't the final look for it, I've only been tinkering with it the past couple of days and I'm trying to figure out how to customize everything. Enjoy.

More room for those images on the side!
