Oof. My deepest empathy on that. I went through a very similar cycle stint a bit ago and it can be really rough to get back into things. Especially when you get into a feeling of "I feel bad so I can't draw...but I can't draw so I feel bad" loop. The best thing I can say is to just take it little bits at a time, try to focus on individual tasks rather than trying to take it all in since sometimes the intimidating "need to do all these things" can really burn one out. I made myself a little music playlist to listen to while I work which I find helps a bit, and really the main thing I find is to try to avoid falling into that mindset where one looks back at a time when you were more productive and think to yourself "I should be able to get this much done in this much time" and holding yourself to what you used to be doing. I find for a lot of folks (myself included) that usually just ends up with ya feeling disappointed in yourself and thus...back to square one.

I'm sure you can ^^ I've noticed that just doodling 'with no strings attached', so just doodling for the doodling itself, tends to help me :) I'm a notorious 'I WANNA MAKE PRETTY THINGS' artist, so whenever I haven't drawn for a while and thus get in a rut, I can get ridiculously frustrated @_@

yeah likewise. I always get the itch to ink everything.

It's why I don't take any 'finished' commissions right now |3 Especially when working digitally, I get ludicrously angry at my lines @_@
