The new year is gonna start a bit on a rough note financially with taking on a new car loan, a higher health insurance bill, and other new expenses coming along. I'm hoping that I'll get things settled down and will be able to get back to a normal pace, I just won't be able to get as wild as I was in the past year or so.

Current con plans for 2015 include Motor City Fur Con in late March, Indy Fur Con in August, and Midwest Furfest in December as the definites for the year. Trot Con is a maybe aslong as I'm able to find room space for that con and I'd like to go back to that one. WPAFW is a fun con/furmeet weekend... but I'm 50/50 on going back to it right now. Not gonna rule it out just yet. With 10 days of vacation for the year, I'm planning on 3 for MFF, 1 as of now for MCFC, 1 for IFC... then tenatively 1 for TrotCon, 2 for Memorial Day weekend plans (TOScon), then I got 2 more days left to decide what to do with. I could put that towards WPAFW, extend another planned weekend, or maybe come up with some new plans somewhere... maybe try a new con or event?

Unless anything drastic happens, I don't expect any changes in work. My only big issue with them is I wish they would give me more Saturdays off. Seem like it was a never ending stream of working on Saturdays. Yeah, I can ask for them off every now and then, but I wish it didn't have to come down to that. This hinders alot of plans like going to visit and such. Yeah, it's nice to get the extra money, especially with how things will be next year, but I'd also like to have my weekends for what they were meant to be.

Geocaching will hopefully be plenty again like the past few years (508, 400, 402 in the last three years), but it's gonna be a stretch to repeat what I did in the last three years. Most of the caches in my surrounding area has been found and it's gonna result in needing to travel alot more and out further just to find ones to do. I've gotten more into doing some whenever I travel alone to someplace (or in some cases when I'm visiting others), so there are opportunities out there. Just how many opportunities is the question though.

I'm looking forward to see what the year has in store for me this year. New car with lower gas prices will encourage more travel during the year, but will have to see how much my work schedule will let me travel. Been finding plenty to do in Fort Wayne, but alot of that leaves me on my own. Hopefully I'll get some opportunities to visit others and do things with others as well.

Onward to 2015!
