Been a while since I posted a journal on here!

2020 was a year. It started out good, but then the pandemic hit and everything went sour from there.

Early part of the year saw me make a road trip with some furs to Dallas for Texas Furry Fiesta and that was some trip. I enjoyed the whole experience, especially being at a large con without having to worry about being on staff. Made alot of memories, met some furs that I haven't seen in a while, had a blast with the entire trip. Little did I know that would pretty much be it for the highlights of the year because when I got back, it wasn't long before the pandemic hit. This made TFF the only con I hit up for the entire year as IFC and MFF both had to go to virtual cons due to this pandemic.

The bad and the ugly of the year hit me in August when I lost my job that I held for 8 1/2 years. Not going into details about what happened other than they let me go afterwards. Forcing me to go back into job hunting. I took a couple temp jobs. First one was going well, but they didn't liked how I was performing so they let me go. A second one turned out to be a bad fit for me and only lasted a week. I'm still with my current assignment, which has been working out. Hoping that it will become a full time job very soon. This has my 2021 con outlook very bleak at the moment, wondering if there will be any cons for me next year aslong as they do happen.

2020 was a terrible year for me as the social distancing thing kept me away from my friends. I stayed in contact with them as best as I could, but there wasn't much for when it came to seeing them. I did make it out for one photoshoot road trip around summer time, but that was mostly about it. Did see friends for very small gatherings, but for the most part... everything I wanted to do was cancelled so most of my holiday weekends and such were spent on my own home alone. Tonight for New Years will be no exception.

I'm hoping 2021 will be a better year. I'm not sure what will happen as I'm still waiting to be hired in full time for my job. It sounds like I'll have vacation time to use right away so I might be able to make cons happen aslong as we are able to safely have cons again. If not, I'm expecting 2021 to be mostly the same as 2020. Sure, we do have a vaccine going out there for this virus so there is hope that by fall time next year, we can start gathering again for more things along with being able to eat out again. But we will see on that.
