This is a really random note about it - but you described body language very well, in all kinds of situations. It built up a great mental image with everything.

Thank you! I remember reading many books where it just felt like two heads talking to each other which made me ask "what are their hands doing?" which reminded me of Ricky bobby in Taladega nights. So I try to avoid things like that.

It's an great thing to do right. In real life, you can pick up someone's mood by a gesture they make, or the way they stand, or a look they throw at you, too. It's nice to have characters in a story that can convey that, too, without having to say everything they feel. Mega bonus points.


...also, I love Ricky Bobby's interview in that movie. "I'm not sure what to do with my hands" (slowly just keeps raising them up)

That's exactly how I picture some conversations in books. It's so distracting with my ADD addled mind I start going down the rabbit hole of: "What if they are picking each others noses while they talk?" or "what if their arms are waving around like they are possessed or something out of a G mod video

See, I don't picture it quite like that. I just imagine that they're sitting motionless if it doesn't specify, usually. Which makes them a bit more boring, too. But I figure if something interesting were happening, it'd be mentioned. Hahaha
