2015, the year of the first journal post

General
I still feel more like a consumer of Furaffinity than a content creator, if that makes sense. It's been fun reaching out beyond the lurker's dwellings over the past year, though. It's far, far too easy to get carried away with commissions when you're more willing to try and talk to artists though! That's something I'll need to learn to reign in. >_>
Anyway, I just wanted to put out a journal post to help organize my thoughts and expectations. I love being in a creative mode again, even after lazing about all holiday break. The girlfriend series has been a terrific outlet for experimenting with day-to-day goofiness involving CTF, a topic I don't think is nearly touched upon enough. It's even more awesome—and surreal—to have other people dig it. It honestly has yet to completely sink in for me. There's an expansion project for Trials in Tainted Space involving nanobot goo girls coating and controlling people that I want to finish up first (I'll link it at the end of this for anyone interested), but once that's done I want to get cracking at part 3 of Girlfriend. Between that and getting back into the swing of things at work, I may take longer than I'd like. So apologies for that.
But a big thank you to the group of you that have commented, left me shouts and have been awesome to talk to in Skype. It was actually at the turn of 2014 when I tried fitting into a group of artists at deviantart. In the end, we didn't share much in common and my drive to create (drawing at the time) took a turn downward. I'd still love to get back into drawing (my true passion will always remain graphic design, though), but the commitment involved feels intense right now, and I still feel that I'd need friends to have my back when I'm having trouble. Musculature is tough! Thankfully, writing is right up my alley right now. It may not be as easily digestible and readily sharable as drawings are, but I'm definitely preferring how much more can be explored in a few thousand words.
So, here's to you, Furaffinity! Finding a group of nice people into the same goofy kink stuff as you is possible after all. If anyone's ever looking for someone to bullshit with on Skype over this stuff, feel free to give me a poke! :)

Good to see a new fan of weird stuff starting to become a creator! I've sent you a poke on skype, since you seem like a good person to talk to about this sorta stuff!
I hope this coming year works out for you. I'm interested in seeing more of what you come up with.
Glad to her it, even if I heard it about a year after the fact. :}===<
