Well, here's some advice; treat them like a person, not an amazing artist. If you want them to notice you, don't be a fanatic, and just try to earn their respect by treating them casually. Find a common ground of interest and perhaps ask their opinion on it?
1. Treat tham as a person, no matter how large the shrine in you bed room is.
2. Ask for a trade or just give them (well done) pics of their character. with their permission of course. (by asking them to draw their character you get their attention as by not being an ass.
3. Be nice to then not creepy guy nice just you know,
4. commission them if you get the money or save $5 from your biweekly dvd fund. then repeat 1-3.
I mean to many of the people on here (not all) It's like me taking one of you Children/ friends/ siblings and destroying them in front of you but by asking you get a little feedback, what is ok to do to their character and it gives them a heads up. as well if you want to do a drawing for them in the future you now have a list of what you can and what you cant do.
I've found that many artists don't like their character doing cretin things and if you accidentally do them to their character you have hit a major cord with them and now you are WAY on their shit list.
dont act all "omg ur amazing and i worship the ground u walk on!"
just be urself...note them and say hi...ask how they got started in art, how long they've been drawing, simple stuff like that...its the easiest way to meet someone new...remember that they are furs n people who put their pants on one leg at a time like the rest of us (always thought that saying was silly lol)...they started out as ameteurs also...
draw, take photos, write alot.practice so u get good..fave alot of pics, and comment atleast a decent amount, watch people alot too.. how to be really populer,I dont know..lol
its not like that actually,, if you want them to notice you or watch you, then be as good as them.. if you want to have a chat with them, then just ask for their e-mail and ask if they have some time to have a little chat with a fan or something like that ^^...
why do you want it? :3 only because they are famous?
I have lot more fun with people like me who are not famous, have time for me and I don't need to think "omg how do I get their attention?"
ok, famous people are still people... :3 I'm curious why you wanna get their attention.
btw my way to get noticed is to comment. but famous artists usually don't have the time to reply every comment, the less known artists sometimes answer or even take a look in your gallery... I take a look at the gallery of almost every new watcher X3
btw thank you X3 you often comment my art, I am so happy about that ^^
It seems i have done something that made u post a journal? (I think so because i wrote that on the note)
So, U want to be reconized by a famous artist?
Here is some ideas from me that will sure to work or u have the right to yell at me!
1)Be kind. This is pretty self-explanitory.
2)Don't act like a fanboy/girl. Don't be like the paparazzi, Artist will feel awkward and will try to avoid u. (never happened to me but i know this)
3)Find a topic to talk about. Find something to discuss about, or just plain chat! Just remember rule #2.
4)Find a strategy. If u do something a couple of times that had a famous artist talk to you, try it with others!(I do fursona interviews and plainly interview them. Sorry this idea is taken and they might get suspecious)
5)Things to remember!
[1]They might not send a reply right away. They ARE famous, so be patient.
[2]Always check the note u sent to see if they read it. This is so u know weither or not u will get a reply from them(if it's plank for a couple of weeks and u get nothing....admit they have blown u off. It's hard, but it may not be personal.)
[3]remember how famous they are. ultraviolet is pretty busy most of the time...but she cares for other people, so u might have a chance. People like furball I've....stopped because i felt like a pest...i need to get back to them on that (Fur's gender has not been reveled) Then there's people like Maxblackrabbit where I have to say.....good luck!
Congrats Light! this is the biggest comment for advice I've ever given! *gives u trophy* I'm gonna have to make a list of achivments soon!
Hmmm. Well it all depends on who they are, I know theres a few really famous artists out there, like Narffet, or Jijix, who are pretty busy alot of the time, I think. Thats what I tend to think.
But then you have some famous artists who are busy, but try to sepnd some time talking with you, such as digisushi, or ARCC. I've talked to a few of them. For me, I started talking to them on some art submission comments, and then we went to journals, and now and then, we go to notes to reduce spamming. I had first started talking to Digi the same way, in comments and journals, and I asked soemthings, like see if he could comment on a picture or two of mine, I said I like dhis art style. And we talked about a few other things. And after that, we sorta became friends. We talk now and then when we can.........So I guess, just try to be nice to them, and try to strike up a good conversation with them, then maybe sujest notes or something to reduce spamming the message boards, and that way, you two could become friends. But it also depends on the artists personality as well.
I am working on a different approach
wow lol see if you can ask this guy that i am going to note you. just to try it out

hay any luck with the comic ? ^^
still you need to start a conversation with the artist you want to be friends with..
