Text adventures, welcome to the 21st Century!
Okay, a little late, but this is something I've been wanting to be able to do for a long time, and part of the reason for building an engine myself. Text input can now auto-complete in a context sensitive way, just like the web has for years. no more struggling with spelling awkward words.
The flip side is that the custom control used to do this means I have to settle on JavaFX 8 and can no longer support Java 7 with JavaFX 2.2. This shouldn't be much of a pain as 8 has been around for 9 months, and 7 is nearing retirement.

FA+

Maybe a toggle for gay/straight/bi to filter out unwanted content.
Believe it or not, some of us don't like boobs lol.
Also, maybe a way to start out as male instead of drinking a potion to become one,
like most text adventure games.
Just my feedback.
I have been asking Fenoxo for such a toggle for awhile...
I'm not sure what to do about content toggles. Okay, it's a bit moot while there's still no sexy content. There's basically four ways sexy-stuff should happen though:
1. You decide to flirt/seduce/love an NPC; your choice - no toggle needed, it's your choice.
2. You lose in combat, and the combatant has their way with you. It could be a pairing you don;t like, but you lost. If you fought your best, and dislike losing, then that's the correct outcome in a way - no toggle needed if you know the encounter is coming.
3. You win in combat, and can choose to press your advantage or not - no toggle needed.
4. You need to do sexy-thing with specific NPC to complete quest - complex...
For this last case, there's always going to be multiple paths, so avoiding sexy-thing will be possible, as part of the basic philosophy of the game. What would be rather more fun, I suspect, is to change the sex of the NPC to match your characters preferences. This should be doable, as there are a lot of moving parts under the covers to handle text substitutions, and so on. I do want to avoid a world populated by bisxual herms though.
I know I don't want to be spewing out vast pages of text for a scene. I favour relatively concise scenes like Nimin (rather than CoC), and I'd like them to change to reflect your experience, rather than remain static. I'm wondering about interactivity though.
They are all wonderful games...and yeah, the only downside to any of them is the part where you lose and it happens whether you want it to or not...
The herms kinda freak me out tbh so I like to avoid when possible.
