Man, hard to believe that it's right around the corner. It's my first time ever attending it, so I'm not entirely sure what to expect. Looking forward to seeing what it and the surrounding city are like. :D

my advice with all cons is just watch yourself. I know this will sound grim but some people can be rather sinister, spiking drinks (happened to an artist I know) and trying to take advantage of others :o

One really nice thing about FC is that it's in the middle of a lively downtown area with lots of restaurants and things. So if a restaurant is really busy, there are plenty of other options. The area of Pittsburgh around AC was just never quite at that level.
