She might not have known you can only have one save.... and people tend to just ingore warning shit when it pops up, seen and hurd it happen..... happened to me on red way back.

They just play the game and don't notice that it says it's saving over the game.

I dought she did it intentionaly.

Holy fuck I got second hand PO'd just from reading this! Its the number one rule that you NEVER EVER erase someones Pokemon save!!!!!!

okay, here's what I don't get... how did your friend manage to erase your file? the game has a lock in it, you have to press buttons in a very specific sequence to erase a file, how did this happen? I mean, what were the odds!? Even me and my friends who have tried to restart files from zero, have trouble erasing a game because of the lock!

geez... never, EVER understood how those that borrow your game, freaking manage to erase the file... EVERY TIME

what's really upsetting is that most of those borrowing, get upset if we say no... because somehow, something inside us jumps and screams "game is gonna get erased"... I never let my friends borrow 1-file games, and even on games with extra files, I always tell them how not to erase...

.... sigh... rant over...

so, hey, I am a breeder and I can breed almost any pokemon you want. I can't find legendaries easily but I might have a few friends who could let me get a legendary somehow... if you want me to get some specific pokemon I can probably use my pokebank to get you a few and breed some as well... let me know if you are interested.

I've got an extra Entei/Suicine/Raikou you can have if you want! I think that they've got nicknames though--if that's a problem I *might* be able to dig up a spare set of shiny ones, I've just got to check my bank and my older games.

well yeah that was a dick move on their part for saving the game they started knowing it wasnt nthier game.

but at the same time i also want to blame nintendo for still being stupid enough to only having 1 save file for the pokemon games since gen 1. i think its about time they at least give us 2 or 3 saved game files to use.

My advice to you is to just appreciate what you have before it disappears, through tragedy or its natural time to go. Games get deleted, save files get lost, but in the end, it's just data. The important part of it is the sentimentality humans give it. And that sentimentality can be used to hurt you over trivial things. It applies to friendships and companionships as well as to the things you cherish.

And this is why Nintendo needs to give you like 3 slots on the damn pokemon games. We have the technology..My condolences on your digital loss though. I'd be super pissed too. -_-

Just remember to cut it up into smaller chunks and place them about a mile away from each other in seperate dumpsters. Less chance of them being discovered that way.

My brother tried to do this to me during Gen1 but he didn't know I'd bought this peripheral that backed up saves. I was using it to start new games on mine and trade the starters over from an unsaved one on his. Pity they don't let that through anymore.

There are those people that don't play lot of video games so they dont realise that some games have only 1 save slot (which in my opinion is dumb).
