Rough sketches are the most energetic in my opinion. I'm very impatient as well, probably why I don't have any substantial pieces. Many ideas that I can't follow through. I just need to let loose and let things happen.

Tsk tsk, you're being far too hard on yourself, Bass. Personally, I can never consider anything you post as halfheartedly done, because I can always feel something important behind the lines and/or colors. Your art form is exquisite and takes various shapes that no other artist can ever hope to copy. Truly what you draw is personal emotion made palpable, I believed that the moment I first laid eyes on your compositions.

So if this journal is at all in relation to your "What the people will think" submission, lemme tell you what I think: I smiled genuinely at its simplicity, exotic vibrancy, and meaningful scenario. =)

Actually, what you post is exactly why I like you as an artist! I like seeing the energy of your line work, the drive of your ideas shining through and not lost under a patina of perfected presentation.
