currently planning out my reward tiers for the kickstarter page. They look pretty kickass to me :)
So my idea is that If I raise enough to atleast buy the full program, The game is going to get done no matter what. But the more I raise the better it can be!.
My plan is that if I raise enough money, I may commission artists to help with some game art. Like monsters and stuff (and maybe guy characters since im atrocious at drawing them)
The more I raise, the less generic rpg maker stuff there will be in it.
Looked around at other games made by rpg maker, and most downvoted reviews were because of mostly-generic rpgmaker graphics. So I would like to avoid this.
I've already found tons of artists on the internet who allow their rpg maker content to be used commericially as long as you contact them first and/or give them credit. So I've already started gathering resources. There will still be alot of stuff that I need to make myself.
Searching for character sprites still. May have found a set I like. But I'll have to edit them since most of the characters in my game are monster boys and girls.
Bought myself some scribblers tonight to start my game design document too! *so proud*
