Alternate Realitys
Something I wish to bring up, which slipped my mind in the last journal, is how we learned of other realities in the first place. This can be contributed to a few different reasons. First, you must remember, our land is full of magic, and as such, things tend to happen that shouldn’t normally; Wild Magic is what I am referring to.
Wild Magic is a magic that has no physical attachment to anything. It is generally created after the death of a magic user, and being a land full of magic, that happens on a regular basis. Now, just one magic user's death won't cause too much harm, however when a ton of magic users die, say in a battle, then all that magic leaks together and tends cause trouble. Land can change within a night, people can disappear only to reappear elsewhere, and rifts can form.
In the past there have been tons of large scale battles. Those have caused magic to leak in large puddles, in multiple different places. These leakages have caused small rifts in our reality which, after time, we have come to find lead to another reality. Only recently however has the council decided they want to know more of other realities, which they implore Sorcerers like myself to do. As a transmutator, I can, with some time, make temporary rifts to other realities, yet I still do not know what exactly I do to make these rifts lead to another reality. However, I have been able to find and distinguish one other reality that isn’t ours or the one we share - that reality is the one I have been focusing most of my time on.
