1. Don't look back. You had other stuff your life was occupied with. You weren't wasting your talent or anything like that. It's just now you're in a better place for it. When I got back into art in 2013 I had no idea I'd be where I'm at now and while I have a long way to go I'm having a lot of fun doing it. I'm so happy I got back into it and its helped me be a lot happier person. I hope the same proves true for you.

2. If sometimes you start stuff and don't finish don't kick yourself. Trust me I have lots of stuff I start and don't finish >////>
Just do what you can when you can and always, always, always do it when its fun. If it stops being fun take a break. Also..always know you're worth love. Not really related to art just needs to be said.

Michi, I know we don't talk a huge amount but I think you're an awesome person always have. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Yeah, that's what I meant by 'the everything thing' - life interrupts, suddenly a decade goes by andyou look back and think "what did I do with all that time"... It's good to hear from you... Even if time was wasted in the past and there are regrets, there is always *right now*....

Nods. I understand. I know it's not always easy to not look back and thing 'what if'.

Maybe we can motivate each other. I had a huge art hiatus kinda starting in early 2002 and never really overcoming the weather until the last days of 2013. And it's been halting fits and starts since. In the end, though, it feels right and like a return to what I should be doing when I get into a pattern of creation again. It's worth moving mountains for.

I agree with that, exactly: It is worth moving mountains for. If I can get past what stopped me back in '99, I think I can get all the "rough drawings" out of my system ...
